Thanks for your comments. I am not making any claims that Cadbury are innocent or guilty. That is not for me to say. It is for a court to decide. My point is that this is a complete waste of council tax payers money. I think that mediation, discussion and education would have sorted this out thus leaving scarce council resources for more valuable work i.e. chasing the thousands of rogue traders operating in the city. I do not dispute the facts you have presented in your response to my article. The problem is that Birmingham City Council plead poverty whenever they cut a valuable service. Maybe if they worked with Cadbury to ensure this did not happen again they would have more money available to help vulnerable and disadvantaged stakeholders in the community.
