I’m not a pro israeli or pro palestinian but you can’t just miss israeli military dominance over palestinians.Along with that comes quite long numbers of civilian casualties from both sides but most shocking numbers connected to israeli military raids through palestinian territories. So,there is a fact that israeli military used excessive military force against palestinians. You can’r deny it.I’m not defending palestinian political factions like Hamas but actions of a group can’t justify large numbers of civilian casualties and destruction on behalf of Israeli Government.

What’s clear is that without 2 state solution there will be no peace.Untill then the chaos will be having regular appearances on TV and media news.

There are war crimes on both sides but forcing the conflict by destroying palestinian properties and building houses for israeli settlers is not a good plan at all.I’m not mentioning the daily struggles for palestinians created by israeli government.Checkpoints, walls, restrictions associated with unhuman treatment of palestinians by israeli military and police.

It looks like there is no political build up within israeli society for a positive and constructive sustainable peace plan which would bring a compromise between two sides. It takes more then a plan and with it comes a strong political motivation to end the conflict.

Well, that’s what I thought you are one of the trophy hunters.Otherwise why would you get upset over this.

    All right,now.

First, you must read my article where I stated that a Marco Polo sheep registered as endangered species in Kyrgyzstan which means the sheep is in Red Book of the Kyrgyz Republic and it has been there back in USSR times as well when the environment protection laws were enforced just like in today’s China.

Then, Kyrgyzstan is one of the states with widespread corruption on all kinds of administrative levels. So trophy hunting businesses particularly with that much money could hunt as many Marco Polo sheeps they want because there is no control at all on top of a local hunting which is happening for all sorts of reasons. In fact in 2008 in the Kyrgyz Congress the issue of the commercial hunting has been raised when in one particular case a commercial hunting business had killed 48 Marco Polo sheeps just for one hunting trip alone with no permits with locals help of course.

What it ends up with? I just wanna give you an example of the snow leopard which is under complete threat of extinction in Kyrgyzstan. The population counted from 100 to 300 and that’s it.

The same fate is going to be with Marco Polo species if the hunting will continue. You have to understand, these countries are poor.Do you think the corrupted official cares about some Marco Polo sheep if you have this kinda attitude? Of course the authorities say whatever you want especially if you have green ones and a lot of em.

As I stated before you have no idea what is going on in Central Asia because you are a foreigner and if you wanna know what’s the real situation read George Shaller more,at least he is doing something to stop species extinction.

If Marco Polo sheep population would have been overpopulated as for instance with a deer population in the NorthEast US where deer is getting killed left and right on the highways and causing car accidents that would’ve been a different story but it’s not.

Marco Polo sheep has been in decline since 80s because of the hunting plus geoplitical disturbances in the region. These days the conflicts are still in place on top of the social-economical situation. Some part of the central asian population don’t have enough food on the table and I’m not mentioning rural areas.

So when someone like you is coming around with money their judgement of the wild life conservation is going away and they will do whatever it takes to earn more money and that’s when trophy hunters come absolutely ignorant having no remorse whatsoever on whether is it right or not to shoot the animal which could be extinct in the near future if hunting will go on.

You should reseacrh better before judging like that because it looks like you are poorly informed so you better check this out first

    http://news.nationalgeographic.com/...

and then I’m from Kyrgyzstan myself so I know very well how hunting is handled in Central Asia better than you my friend.

If you look at the map of a Central Asian region you should see that it’s a quite landscape.Pamir mountains split between a few countries including Afghanistan so practically there is no control whatsoever and I’m not mentioning Kyrgyzstan and Tadjikistan where even with phony environment protection laws anything is possible as long as you have the money.

There is certainly some progress on chinese side of the border which was confirmed by George Shaller who is the most well known Wild Life Conservation researcher especially with Marco Polo sheep.

But it does’t mean that the sheep stays in China only.If you are a reseacrher you should know that this species travel all around the region between named states so there is no clear habitat except the whole region.

The numbers given by chinese are not clear yet it’s all approximate so when they say up to 40 000 it does’t mean the exact amount so it ranges between 10 000 and 40 000 which is not scientifically confirmed by anyone yet because it’s not possible in that area. The specific of the area is not letting the scientists to do the whole range of research projects.

So the numbers are not correct or exact but one thing is certain which is a flourishing hunting business in poor countries such as Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. If China does a good job in preserving it others do not so you do the math and what is going to happen if hunting will be on. Take a guess.
