Kazakh authorities accuse Secret Service of Kyrgyzstan in murder of a journalist

Kazakh investigators confirm suspects in Pavlyuk’s murder.

 Kazakh public broadcasting channel KTK http://www.ktk.kz broke the news of Kyrgyz Secret Service involvement in killing of a prominent outspoken media expert Gennady Pavlyuk. KTK report

Kazakh TV station reported that three kyrgyz secret service agents arranged meeting with Pavlyuk at the hotel from where victim was taken to the nearby apartment complex which ultimately became a crime scene.KTK source confirms a fact that the same agents were inside the apartment prior to journalist’s death.Pavlyuk,bound with a duct tape, was thrown off a sixth floor and later spotted by locals.

Confidential official from Kazakh state service also informed KTK that Kyrgyz counterparts were "passive in helping kazakh investigators".

Notably, three years earlier President Bakiev’s brother Janysh Bakiev has been highlighted in 2006 as "mastermind" behind the incident of planted heroin drug in suitcase of Kyrgyz opposition leader Omurbek Tekebaev.His luggage was searched at the airport in Warsaw,Poland by customs agents and later detained Tekebaev was freed from a detention facility after a Polish Court order which found him innocent RFE/RL reported.http://www.rferl.org/content/articl...
